Isabella Tritthart (2002) is a Trans-disciplinary artist currently living and working in Vienna, Austria, where she was also born and raised. She started studying painting at Central Saint Martins in London and now continues on to study in the TransArts class at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Her multi disciplinary practice comes from a wide array of influences. Growing up with an architect father and a designer mother heavily impacts her choice in materiality and she often draws references from these disciplines as starting points in her practice. Through working in the fashion industry as a model in her teenage years, Isabella gained a certain physical awareness and interest in the body. Ultimately, she investigates the way these aspects have impacted her as a woman in this world. Currently Isabella Tritthart explores the way we interact with our environment whether that be the natural or industrial world, or inter-human interconnection. In addition, she aims to evoke associative thinking in her audience and does this through a broad variety of mediums such as leather, ceramics and performance. Her approach to working is very instinctual and oftentimes accompanied by traditional analog art practices, like drawing and collaging.
