Lotti Brockmann is situated in Vienna and grew up on the ever-changing Wadden Sea in northern Germany. Recently, she was awarded the Northwest Art Prize 2025 by the Kunsthalle Wilhelmshaven and will be presenting her first institutional solo show there next year. in 2023 she received the Playground Art Prize under Nicolaus Schafhausen, Franciska Zólyom, Leonie Radine, Dr. Florence Thurmes. Lotti has exhibited in Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. In November 2024 Lotti's artistic practice was presented as a solo position at the Artissima Art Fair in Turin (IT).

Almost all of Lotti Brockmann’s artistic works have to be newly produced for each exhibition, as they are lost again with every presentation. The motif of loss thus runs through her practice. It is about the tension between what should be preserved and what cannot be preserved. Within this ambivalence, Brockmann reflects on current issues such as how to navigate changing systems—like nature—or how to hold onto something that no longer exists, like history.
